Terms of Service

• You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA/UK) to use the Service.
• The Service does not require an account. If we ever offer accounts, you must provide accurate information and keep it secure.
• You represent that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms and to comply with applicable laws.

• The Service helps you fetch direct links to publicly available media (video, photo, GIF) from Threads posts you supply.
• We do not support audio extraction or conversion. The Service mirrors source-available media quality only (no artificial upscaling).
• We do not store copies of downloaded media, and we are not affiliated with Meta, Instagram, or Threads.
• Your use of Threads remains governed by Threads’ own terms and policies. You are solely responsible for complying with third-party terms.

• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• You retain rights to your own content. By submitting links/requests, you grant us permission to process those requests to provide the Service.
• All rights in the Service and our materials (including UI, text, code, and trademarks) are owned by us or our licensors.
• “Thredra” and associated marks, logos, and designs are protected; do not use them without our prior written consent.

• Only download or use media when you have rights or permission from the rights holder and when the media is publicly accessible.
• Use downloads for lawful purposes only (e.g., personal use, education, commentary, or other permitted fair-use exceptions subject to applicable law).
• Respect privacy and platform rules. Do not attempt to access private or restricted content.
• You are responsible for your devices, network charges, and data security practices.

• Infringing others’ intellectual-property or privacy rights.
• Circumventing technical protections, paywalls, DRM, or access controls.
• Scraping, bulk harvesting, or automated use that degrades or interferes with the Service without our written permission.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by law.
• Uploading or linking to malicious code, or using the Service for spam, fraud, or illegal activity.
• Misrepresenting affiliation with Thredra, Meta/Threads, or any other third party.

We respect intellectual-property rights and expect you to do the same.

• If you believe content accessible via the Service infringes your rights, send a notice including:
  • Identification of the copyrighted work.
  • The exact URL(s) or description of the allegedly infringing material.
  • Your contact details (name, address, email).
  • Your statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized.
  • Your statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.
• Send notices via our Contact page with the subject “IP Notice”.
• We may remove or disable access to material alleged to be infringing and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

• The Service may link to or interoperate with third-party sites (e.g., Threads, analytics, CDN). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
• Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies.

• The Service is provided on an “as-is, as-available” basis and may change without notice.
• We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service, or impose limits, at any time.
• We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use means you accept the changes.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind (express, implied, or statutory), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that media links will remain available.
• Thredra is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Meta, Instagram, or Threads.

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
• To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) USD $50 or (b) the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the above limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.

• You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Thredra and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
• If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, you may be entitled to bring claims in your local courts under mandatory consumer-protection law.

• Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale.
• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Headings: Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
